Results from 10th Holland Cup

Last weekend we had a pleasure of attending the 10th Holland Cup at Delft in the Netherlands.

We had one competitor, Egor Nikolaev competing in the youth category (up to 13-years old) in black belts. Egor achieved 2nd place in 1st Degree patterns, and also competed in sparring.

This was Egors first black belt competition.

As a coach to Egor was Jukka Holmén.

5 Black Eagle members selected to the National Team

We are proud to announce that 5 members from our club will be representing Finland at the upcoming World Championships:
- Sanna Rantasaari: Patterns 3 Dan, sparring -56kg
- Antti Holmen: Junior: Patterns 2dan, sparring -75kg, special, team
- Jukka Holmen: Junior: Patterns 2dan, sparring -75kg, special, team
- Tino Shikongo:  sparring -85kg, special, team
- Edgar Sarelainen: Junior: sparring -75kg, special, team

Amazing results at the National Championships 2015

Our team attended the national championships with 39 competitors. the results were simply amazing

28 Gold 

17 Silver 

16 Bronze

Also during this championship Antti Holmen and Mira Sjövall were nomintated as best Junior competitors of the championship with Antti getting 4 gold and 1 Bronze and Mira 4 Gold and 1 Silver. Antti also received the members award for best Junior competitor of the year 2014.
